On October 8 I heard a lone wolf howling from the side of a mountain near the du Lièvre River, near Notre Dame de la Salette. After the first howl, a bunch of young pups joined in as well.

baby ducks rescued from chimney!
A common merganser duck laid eggs in our chimney (which as not being used) this spring….when the babies hatched I gave them a lift down to the river edge in this bucket.
